Police find 5,883 bags of heroin in Seaford suspect’s home

EAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department says they found 5,883 bags of heroin while carrying out a search warrant on Thursday.

The Department of Corrections notified Seaford Police earlier in the day that they had taken 24-year-old Trevion Brown of Seaford into custody and reported they found marijuana on him.

Officers from Seaford Police obtained a search warrant for Brown’s residence and searched the home. In addition to thousands of bags of heroin weighing a total of 588.05 grams, police say they also found 1.7 grams of cocaine, 17.5 grams of marijuana. Police also found nearly a thousand dollars in cash that they believe is drug proceeds.

Brown is now charged with two possession of controlled substance charges, maintaining a drug property, second degree conspiracy, possession of marijuana and multiple drug paraphernalia charges.
